10 Things I Hate About Paris

1. The smell of urine near subway and train stations.
2. Having to get up from your seat at the cinema because the person that just came in wants to sit exactly right next to you (on the seat where you have all your jackets and bags), even when the whole cinema is empty.
3. The constant misuse of the expression "Ole!" in every single sporting event or activity.
4. The guy that, without asking, sticks right behind you on the turnstiles at the subway so that he can skip paying the fare, and gets angry when you don't let him.
5. Dog, and sometimes human, shit on the streets.
6. The herds of volunteers from Care, Unicef, Medecines du Monde, WWF and every possible NGO that approach you near train stations, commercial districts, etc.
7. The Simpsons in french.
8. PSG (and Ligue 1 in general).
9. People that ask you for a cigarette on the street.
10. Musicians in the subway, especially those ones that bring an amplifier to serve as backup to their accordion tunes, playing such classic "french" hits like Bésame Mucho and La Bamba.
